EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

The Town is seeking applications for one full time equipment operator/labourer position to work in a team environment.

Qualifications include:

An understanding of the mechanical functions of machinery and equipment associated with municipal operations (i.e. graders, road equipment, lawn care equipment, street sweeper, etc);

1. Construction and maintenance knowledge of roads, sidewalks and other related municipal infrastructure;
2. Class 3 driver’s license;
3. Willingness to work in a team environment and perform other duties as required ensuring effective and efficient operation in the public works department.
4. Applicant must not live further than 15 minutes from Town in order to respond in a timely manner when called to emergencies.
